Corps a Corps - Susan Point

“Corps a Corps” 2010 edition of 100 - Susan Point

We are glad to be participating in the BC Fencing Association fundraising efforts this year. The BCFA has worked with Susan Point to produce a beautiful limited edition print entitled “Corps a Corps”. Corps a Corps is a fencing term which refers to the action of two fencers coming into physical contact with one another, just as the two Thunderbirds intertwine in contact with each other in the print.

The prints measure 21” X 13 ¼” and are $500. Shipping charges are $30 for Canada and $35 to the US. Your credit card purchase will be charged by National Sports Trust Fund, and for Canadian residents a tax receipt of $190 will be issued. The prints are PST and GST exempt.

Serigraph
The silk-screen process when it is used as a fine-art reproduction method.

Giclée
The term  "giclée print" connotes an elevation in printmaking technology. Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction.

Lithograph
is a print made by using a press to transfer an image that was created initially on stone or metal plate to paper.
