Roy Henry Vickers

Roy Henry Vickers is one of the most prominent native artists in British Columbia.  From his longhouse-styled gallery on Vancouver Island, he produces and exhibits a wide range of prints and carvings.

Vickers is best known for his brightly coloured, highly stylized prints, an artform that emerged from his early, more traditional works.  Vickers is also an accomplished carver, the doors just inside his gallery attesting to his carving and design skills.

Vickers has exhibited his works on a worldwide basis and has participated in many group and solo exhibitions.
